New Travel Options for Anyone Needing More Travel Support!

Did you know that despite mobility limitations or a life partners cognitive impairment, you can still travel the world? I think this is great news for those who may have given up on doing something they love, even if they are in a wheelchair! Travel companies of all kinds are meeting the demand; it is “smart business,” and a great option for anyone coping with limitations at ANY age!
Wheel the World
In 2016 when Alvaro Silberstein trekked through Patagonia’s mountains despite a paralyzing spinal cord injury (with the help from friends), he had a revelation. He wanted to provide travel opportunities to anyone who needed more support than the average traveler. His company vets all the cruises, hotels, tours, and they “guarantee handicapped accessible accommodations,” and provide customers with any information they need to provide peace of mind traveling with special needs. The website listed tours to Greece, Dominican Republic, Alaska, Costa Rica, and many more. Some are cruises and some are package tours and many look reasonable cost wise. Reviews were excellent and customers were happy.

Easy Access Travel
Debra Kerper is a true inspiration! She became a bi-lateral amputee, but refused to give up her desire to travel and founded her company, Easy Access Travel in 1995.Today they offer both domestic and international travel. I love that they organize group trips and fabulous cruises specifically designed for amputees! She works closely with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and is on their disability advisory board. One of her groups had well over 100 people with 67 amputees; all having a fantastic time and making new friends! Check out their website:
